Dear Participant,
We are happy you decided to partake to the RAPTOR SCHOOL.
To secure your place at the school and book your room @ CSF Monte Verita’ please follow these steps.
STEP 1 – Registration to the RAPTOR SCHOOL
- Step 1: Follow this link to register , fill in the form and make the payment of the fee.
- Please note: you will find the payment space empty and you will have to enter the school fee of 250.00 CHF.
School Fee= 250.00 CHF
- The fee includes:
- All coffee breaks, lunches, dinners indicated on the programme
- Social Activity and Social dinner
- The 1-day in-house workshop on "Effective writing for journal articles" run by SCRIPTORIA
- The transfer via private bus from PSI to Monte Verità
- The fee does not include
- Overnight stays
Once you have successfully paid the registration fee, you will receive 3 E-mails:
- the first E-Mail will be sent by the CSF Platform to confirm your registration.
- the second E-Mail will be sent by the Saferpay Platform and will confirm the FEE payment.
- the third E-Mail will be sent by the CSF database and will contain
the LINK and the CONFERENCE CODE, necessary to access the Monte Verità Meals & Bedroom Booking Platform. Use these information for Step 2.
STEP 2 – Booking of meals & bedroom
Follow the link received in mail 3 to access Monte Verità platform and input the conference code (Step 1).
Things you need to know:
- Meals are already covered within the registration fee, however we would like to know exactly the days of your stay and specific dietary requirements.
- for organizational reasons, it is necessary to first book the meals and then proceed with the booking of the bedroom at Hotel Monte Verità.
- book your meals and bedroom latest 15 days prior to arrival. After that date the Platform will be closed.
Bedroom – PLEASE NOTE

- Single rooms are limited and some have a shared bathroom.
- Casa Gioia has a very affordable price given the shared use of the bathroom between the 3 rooms and is particularly suitable for students
- Twin rooms: if you wish to share a twin room with a colleague, please mention both names at the time of booking.
- Accompanying person: if you wish to book a shared double room with an accompanying person (not active participant), please mention both names at the time of booking (please be aware that accompanying persons pay the standard room price and are not entitled to the CHF 28.- additional price reduction per person and night granted by CSF/ETHZ to active participants.).
- Pre and Post- nights: the rooms on this platform can be booked only for the duration of the conference. If you wish to book a pre- and/or a post-night, please contact the Hotel Reception Monte Verità (info@monteverita.org).
In case there is no availability or in case you do not wish to stay at Hotel Monte Verità, you can look for another hotel in the nearby Ascona village (15/20 minutes on foot from Monte Verita Centre).

The RAPTOR school will be based in 2 different locations: the Paul Scherrer Institute and the Centro Stefano Frascini CSF - Monte Verita'
In fact, the school will start on Sunday 10 September 9 am @ Paul Scherrer Institute located in Villigen (CH). After lunch, a RAPTOR BUS will transfer all participants to the main school location Centro Stefano Frascini CSF - Monte Verita' located in Ascona (CH) (approx. 3.30 hrs), where the activities will start at 7 pm with the Welcome Dinner. School will end on Friday 15 September before lunchtime. Yo can check the program here
- During your registration please indicate whether :
- you will participate in the Sunday morning session at PSI
- you need the RAPTOR BUS for the transfer from PSI to Monte Verità.
Overnight accommodation at PSI cannot be booked via the Monte Verità platform and must be booked separately. On the RAPTOR school page you can find a list of Hotel and Hostel solutions close to PSI.
