How to get to the Paul Scherrer Institute (PSI):
From Brugg:
From Brugg railway station, you take a public Bus labelled “Brugg-PSI-Böttstein-Döttingen”. Please also have a look at http://www.psi.ch/how-to-find-us.
On weekdays, the Buses are running every half hour at 5' & 35' minutes past the hour and you need 14 minutes to PSI. In the morning additional direct busses leave at 04' & 34' minutes past the hour go non-stop to PSI in 11 minutes.
A single fare will be CHF 4.00. Optionally, you may buy a multiple-journey ticket (“Mehrfahrtenkarte”) for CHF 20.00, which entitles you to six one-way journeys on the chosen route. Tickets can be bought either at the railway station or directly from the bus driver.
From Schloss Böttstein:
On weekdays, the bus is running every hour (more frequently in the morning and evening). The bus stop is located right in front of the hotel’s parking lot.
A single fare will be CHF 5.80. Optionally, you may buy a multiple-journey ticket (“Mehrfahrtenkarte”) for CHF 29.00, which entitles you to six one-way journeys on the chosen route. Tickets can be bought directly from the bus driver.
How to get to Brugg (Hotel Rotes Haus and Hotel Terminus):
From Zurich Airport (www.zurich-airport.com):
From Zurich Airport, you can reach the city of Brugg within 30 to 50 minutes by train.
A one-way ticket from Zurich Airport to Brugg will be CHF 30.80 in 1st class and CHF 18.60 in 2nd class.
From Basel EuroAirport (www.euroairport.com):
From Basel EuroAirport, the bus line 50 will bring you to the railway station in Basel. At the railway station, you can take a direct train to Brugg. Please reserve at least 1 hour for the whole journey.
A one-way ticket from Basel EuroAirport to Brugg will be CHF 42.00 (via Olten) or CHF 32.20 (via Frick) in 1st class, and CHF 25.00 (via Olten) or CHF 19.40 (via Frick) in 2nd class.

How to get to Böttstein (Hotel Schloss Böttstein):
From Brugg railway station, you take a public Bus labelled “Brugg-PSI-Böttstein-Döttingen”. This is the same bus that will stop at PSI, but instead of getting off at PSI, remain seated until you reach the bus stop “Böttstein, Schloss”.

How to reach ICALEPCS2011 in Grenoble
There are two ways to reach Grenoble by public transport: You can travel by train from Brugg to Grenoble (journey time is five to eight hours depending on connections) or by plane to Lyon Airport and connect to the train.
