asking you to provide your travel details to the conference. Please always be cautious about any such requests as neither the ICRP conference organisers nor the conference venue Congress Kursaal Interlaken will randomly ask you for this information.
1. Create an account on the website
To register for the conference, participants must have a valid account at indico.psi.ch. When you register or submit your abstract, you will need to log in with your account.
We will not consider any abstracts until a registration form has been completed.
2. Registration
We have one registration form for students/postdocs, one for academics and industry and one for partners only, who want to attend the lunches, the conference dinner on Thursday and excursion but no scientific talks. Please select the appropriate form for your registration.
To guarantee your place at the conference, payment must be completed. You will be guided to the payment options after the registration form is submitted.
Only when you have completed the payment which we will see in the system, will you then receive a confirmation email for your guaranteed place at the conference.
As the catering is limited, we highly encourage all participants to complete the registration as soon as possible. Once we have reached capactiy, we will close registration.
Priority will be given to people registering as students/postdocs and academics and industry over partners, due to the number of tables available for the conference dinner and if necessary, we will close the registration for partners earlier.
Please note, that you will not be allowed to enter the conference without having registered and paid, due to catering and seating restrictions. This is also to be fair to those who have registered and paid.
Please note that travel to and from the venue, accommodation and insurance ARE NOT COVERED.
3. Abstract submission for oral and poster presentation
Whether you are an invited speaker, chair, or you wish to present a poster, please submit an abstract. (max 400 words).
Besides the invited speakers, a few abstracts will be selected for oral presentations. Your abstract will be reviewed as soon as possible once it is submitted. If your abstract is selected for oral presentation, we will contact you by the end of September/ beginning of October.
4. Registration fees
1000 CHF for MSc, PhD students and Postdocs.
1200 CHF for academic scientists, lecturers, professors, and industry/company employees.
The fee covers:
- a welcome apero on Sunday afternoon
- a luncheon on Monday-Thursday
- tea/coffee break and snack in the morning and afternoon Monday-Thursday
- conference dinner on Thursday evening
- local excursion on Wednesday afternoon
700 CHF for Partners only -no attendance at scientific talks
As above but you will not be allowed to attend any of the scientfic talks, poster sessions or keynote talks.
Once again, please note that travel to and from the venue, accommodation and insurance ARE NOT COVERED.
5. Payment options
These payment options will be shown after you have completed the first steps of your registration:

6. Accommodation
Please visit the Accommodation page for discounted hotel & youth hostel booking options. This is not compulsory nor are the costs included in the conference fee.
Now we kindly ask that you make arrangements for your accommodation at your convenience. Thank you for your understanding.
7. Invitation letter
If you need an invitation letter, please contact icrp2024@psi.ch.
8. Childcare
There is no childcare available, so you must arrange this yourself as children will not be allowed into the conference.
9. Cancellation
All refund requests must be sent by email to icrp2024@psi.ch as soon as possible.
The Local Organization Committee reserves the right to refuse reimbursement, depending on the date of cancellation, due to costs already incurred. (Catering, staff & venue hire).
In general, cancellations, if allowed, will incur a CHF 100.- administration fee.
Each request for a refund will be considered on an individual basis.
10. Rejection
The conference committee reserves the right to reject any application that does not meet our standards of science, integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct.
11. Paper-less conference
Abstract book will be electronically distributed and the printed version will not be provided.
